She is a strong mental health awareness advocate and desires to see the barriers to mental health broken down.
Jessica started her nursing career in the labor and delivery arena and began dabbling in the behavioral health side of nursing where she found her niche and passion. She worked on the direct care, utilization review, and case management side prior to taking leadership roles. She was an integral part of the development and opening of a 12-bed geriatric behavioral health unit and a 46-bed adult behavioral health and addictions unit. She has steered multiple deficient free regulatory audits throughout her career. Jessica enjoys building strong teams that are patient-centered and driven to help those that are having difficulty using their own voice to help themselves.
